A historical building is for sale - a former primary school in the Hodošan in Međimurje.
Built in 1903. in the art nouveau style, its external appearance and internal and external decoration greatly differed from the usual school buildings. It had a library, a natural history collection and an apartment for a teacher.
The building served as a school building until 1982. and is the second most significant Hungarian Art Nouveau style building in Međimurje.
Hodošan's old school is a one-story building with a square floor plan and with special decorations on the main facade. It is decorated with a specific red brick decoration and plastered with a fine one-layer light plaster. In front of the main facade is a small access yard with a fence made of brick pillars and metal nets. The spaces in the interior are bridged with steel traverses, and the Art Nouveau wrought-iron railing of the staircase is especially valuable. The building is an example of architecture from the turn of the 19th to the 20th century (few of them have been preserved), it is a way out of neo-style practice and an example of an Art Nouveau building on the border between historicism and modern architecture.
